Hello

I am new here. I suppose that I should introduce myself. My name is John, I am 19 years of age, and my job is as a musician, which is my also my obsession. I am sometimes an angry young nihilistic misanthrope, and at other times a very pleasant individual. I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome when I was nine, and I am looking for people like me to talk to & befriend. The rest of the world doesn't really seem to be especially comprehending of, or indeed interested in, the autistic experience. It constructs it as being erroneous and invalid, and as being a treatable ailment. I guess that makes me feel quite abrogated, because I am at least 50% human, with all the emotional faculties that that 50% entails. Oh well.

Hello John. Music is my passion, although I no longer play an instrument. My voice is my instrument and I am voice trained. I can understand what you mean about Sometimes being nihilistic and angry. I get that way too and my nice moments become less and less. Hope you find plenty here to interest you and get to know some people.

I have no musical talent, little interest, and have known many musicians, the good ones had a personallity I related to. Now I have an idea of why.

Mixed bag here, people I would never meet, I rarely leave the house, which cuts down on my social life, that and the bear trap on the front steps.

Suddenly I land on Wrong Planet, and being a writer, think I must have invented them.
