Hi everyone!
Name's rurufu from Germany. Been diagnosed with BPD about 7 years ago. Coincidentally found out about having Aspergers symptoms via the documentary "Undateables". I'm suspecting that I have ADHD as well.
I'm 35 years of age and working as a nurse.
I hope to find out more about aspergers through conversations here and also to make friends :D

Hi rurufu.

There is lots of information on the forums here, and some nice people too. Make yourself at home.

Welcome to Wrong Planet. :D

Thanks everyone! I'm wondering if many of you here are diagnosed or undiagnosed? I'm thinking if I should go to a doctor about it. I get by most of the time except that I don't really have friends or a relationship at the moment which is a bummer. Otherwise socializing a lot would probably get on my nerves.

I was diagnosed six years ago
If I was undiagnosed and got by just fine in life, I probably wouldn't bother personally, but of course it's up to you whether you want or need to have that confirmation

others me is that my mum can't seem to accept it. I remember when she visited me at the psychiatric ward for BPD before. She kept on saying, "you're not mentally ill..."
Well I'm "clean" of self destructive behaviours for almost 10 years now and I don't really have the urge. I do have constant "mini anxieties" as I call it, like wanting to go under the shower at 20:00 and still not doing it at half past. I'd get a panic attack. They might be petty things for normal people but I'm living under those mini anxieties.
I used to line my books by their height. Used to. But they're still grouped by author or topic until now. My CDs are also in alphabetical order. Is that an asperger trait or borderline?

I also sort my books by authors and topics. I thought that is rather normal? I mean it is just a logical system, isn´t it?
I don´t own many CDs, but my DVDs are in alphabetical order.

Oh hi there!
Where in Germany are you from?
I just started evaluating things lately whether it's part
part of the symptoms or not.
But I'm glad that doing things like that doesn't sound weird. :)

I am from Hesse.

When I was new here I also was very glad that here are many people who understand things that often are considered as weird by others I know in real life.

Hey Nightingale121 and rurufu! My mum is German. Is it true about how many different dialects of your language there are? Also, what's with the children's story where the kid sucked his thumbs so they cut them off? Hehe. My strange version of "hi"!
