I'm in full-time employment (the good news) but despite lots of vocational qualifications can't get promotion (the usual).

I feign neurotypical and can 'carry it off' unless tired, stressed or otherwise down.

I am very fortunate to have a family and a circle of friends who support me ...

... but I am so fed up with letting them down - making stupid mistakes which are always obvious in retrospect. Are ASDs only social impairments? I know many people with ASDs who like me do the silliest things, yet this never gets explored in the literature (or if it does it's too obscure for me to notice). This is my main concern.

Otherwise, I'm content to offer support or insights myself, for what they're worth. Yours, falkystevie.
