NOTE: You don't have to give an answer if it's too personal.

I called myself LonelyJar because I normally feel lonely and very empty inside.

As I was creating the WP profile, the original Gilbert Ralston paperback (Ratman's Notebooks) with the movie poster art from the original Willard film on the cover, was lying on the bookshelf directly in front of me, so I used the name because it was handy and I didn't have to think about it.

Can you change your nickname?

I just used an initial and a middle name. I couldn't think of anything better.

Being an owner of a black cat, it always intrigued me that my cat somewhat resembles a witch familiar, or a witch's cat, so I chose the latter as my user name.

My WP nickname is actually the IRL nickname that one of my Aspie relatives gave me long ago.

I figured that you cannot get a more appropiate name on WP than the name that one Aspie gave to another Aspie.

That reminds me from the Twilight Saga, lol. I wouldn't be surprised if a huge used that name.

Well, I like a lot of things, but I'm technically an amateur at them all... And I like technical and mechanical type things.

I've been using Meistersinger (after Wagner's Die Meistersinger Von Nuernburg, one of my favorite operas) since the late 1980's, when I first signed on to CompuServe and GEnie. I also used it on some of the old GBBS systems that were around Chicago and Milwaukee around the same time.

an enemy from my all time favorite game, EarthBound...also the source of one of my all time favorite songs, the battle music that plays when you encounter that enemy ( or the game's first real boss, Frank Fly ). Well, technically the Hippie Battle music originates from the original Mother ( EarthBound is Mother 2 ) and plays when you encounter a Hippie.
