There are none who can understand what it is like to be me. Not even here. Nobody can understand me, because I am truly unique on this planet, the only one of my kind in existence.

I do not have Asperger's Syndrome, I am actually not a human being. I am actually alone in the world. You are not like me. I am both a god and a fool. My brain is alien to the human condition.

I have been essentially banned from the relationships forum on another site that some of you may be familiar of, where people expressed to me the existence of this site and recommended it to me. The mods essentially demonstrated that my true opinions are no longer welcome. They cannot accept that someone wants to discuss his lack of need for relationships on a relationships forum. Perhaps the relationships forum here will be more accepting of an alien perspective.

That title would be a good one for a sic-fi story.

Anybody paying your bills?
Helping you along?
Taking care of anything for you?
Give a rat's ass when you're in a serious fix?
Checking in on you?
Caring whether you live or die?

When the answer to all those things is "no", please come back and talk about "alone in the universe".

I have more in common with serial killers than N/Ts. used to watch dexter till it ended. he had to hide who he was, alienating himself, makes sense to me. psychopath, lack of empathy. that story of daily struggle is more relate-able than most anything else on television, or real life people for that matter.

I think we touch each other in small ways, finding things in common between us, feeling a little less alone, but really no one can know what another experiences. We are all alone in that sense. It is those small ways we touch one another that are important.

You say, "You are not like me." Wouldn't that require your knowing me to be able to state that?

This should be an interesting thread!

It's a line from a Sci-Fi episode called Dalek, in the first season of the Doctor Who Reboot in 2005.

It doesn't seem you read the post. I am the only one of my kind. There are people who do those things, but that doesn't mean they're the same species as me.

Tedious? I don't think that was very long. Probably took 30 seconds to read. Pompous? Yes, I am a pompous ass and darn proud of it.

You are a human being, and you are currently experiencing a mental state that makes you think otherwise. In a sense, you are unique, because every human being is unique. If that sounds super sentimental and makes you want to throw up, then I can certainly relate.

I've felt more or less exactly like you must be feeling now. If you ever want to talk, just send me a PM.

edit:

Also, about being your own species... Asperger syndrome is the result of genetic abnormalities that in turn lead to a radically altered brain structure. I've read a lot about how the human brain works, and how Aspergers and autism spectrum disorders affects brain functioning and signaling. In a very real sense, we (Asperger sufferers) are a race of our own. Maybe these things are true about you as well, but in a more absolute way. If that's the case, it doesn't mean it's game over for you, it means you need to look inside yourself and figure out what's going on. You need to start doing this as soon as possible.
