I live in the suburbs of the biggest city here, but here's an idea of what SOME of our backyard is.. and Yes, there's more, and it's awesome, too. We have everything from glaciers to a desert resort town on a lake that gets up to over 40C/104F in the Summer. I love this place so much and could never in a million years imagine moving away from here. I'd travel and visit other places, but the Vancouver area will always be home. I've gotten to see and experience a lot of the places and things in this video, but not all of them yet.. someday I'll do a little more travelling & experiencing around my own backyard. I have a few things to get off my plate over the next little while but once I've freed my schedule up I intend to spend some weekends driving up to Squamish (half way between Vancouver & Whistler) to go kiteboarding on the pacific ocean w/ beautiful scenic mountains as my backdrop.

Anyways, on to the video! It was just too good not to share.
