Hello my name is Sebastian, I'm 19 years old/young and I live in Austria.

When I was a little kid a few doctors diagnosed me with Kanner-Syndrome. And 2 years ago they told me its possible Savant-Syndrome. My IQ is 147 (last test oct. 2013) and I'm obsessed with PI.

I don't know what else I can say, if you have questions feel free to ask me.

How did you get diagnosed with (low functioning) Kanner autism if you have an IQ of 147?

I don't know much about "savant syndrome", but don't you need to have an IQ below average or at most average for that to apply, too? With a general IQ of 147, you must likely be excellent or brilliant in many areas not just one (like a savant). Anyone with an IQ above 130 is considered "gifted" (hochbegabt).

That Kanner thing was until I was 8 years old. Then I was pretty "normal" for a few years and I don't really know how it started after that. Now it feels like I was "asleep" for years, I was always bad at school until 15. I got obsessed with numbers (I know 7690 digits of PI) and thats why they think its some kind of Savant-Syndrome. Honestly I'm not sure what I really am. lol

Well my parents think I'm ret*d, my sister thinks I'm a genius, some friends think im "special" and I'm not sure what to think. I'm here to find people who are like me or atleast can tell me what I am.

You are who you are, and don't let other people define you as a person by what they see. And never mind what anyone else thinks, don't ever forget that you are special! From what I have seen of this place here you will fit right in with us, special is our speciality 😊
