I'm a new member here. I'm 38, male, from Philadelphia PA. I started my self-diagnosing process about a year ago and have read over a half a dozen books on Aspergers Syndrome, and by people who are on the spectrum who have written about their experiences. I've found myself either agreeing or becoming startled with mostly everything I've read and how much my own personal experiences and how I felt growing up matches others who are also on the spectrum.

I'm also a 38 y/o male. I'm also very "new to asd". I've also read [only] about a half-dozen asd books. (Looks like I'm 6 mos. older than you and I live near Wichita, KS.)

This is my first post in about five months.

I joined this-past January and posted for a few months (in THIS forum, plus the forums titled: "In-Depth Adult-Life Discussions" (mostly in that one) and (some in) "Art, Writing, and Music"), but, since then, have taken a break.

It's good to come back & see what (and who) is new.
