Alas, you were born after the moon landing. I bet you would have enjoyed seeing the Eagle land.
Welcome to the Forums!
I don't mean to hijack this topic, but one of my favorite days ever was spent collecting autographs from astronauts and cosmonauts who were conferencing in Utah in 2005 and just walking around the conference center. My personal rock-star moment was chatting with Mercury Atlas 7 Astronaut Scott "Godspeed John Glenn" Carpenter. He was still awesome as Heck. He was the first U.S. astronaut in my lifetime (being born just a month earlier; no, I don't remember the orbit). Aside from meeting a Beatle (still waiting), that handshake was about as cool as it ever got for me.
