Hello
I was here before a few years when I only suspected I was on the spectrum. Last week I got the official diagnosis from a psychiatrist that I am "on the Autism spectrum".
That explains a lot of things in my life. Too bad they weren't recognising aspergers 30 years ago. A lot of struggling could have been avoided. Anyway, I'm back,
getting my life together again from chronic depression and alcoholism (2yr+ sober now). That is why I seeing a psych. To clear out some of the cobwebs that remain.
This web site is also , I believe, a good place to learn more about my condition and maybe make a friend or two.

You are on the right road man! Good luck! Hope things work out.

Also, good job staying sober for 2+ years. An addiction can be incredibly hard to stop and you did it! Be proud of yourself man!

Thanks everyone.

As luck has it, I met a man at an AA meeting yesterday. He likes some of the same things I do like old vacuum tube stereo amps. We traded emails
