The utter diversity of it whether it is:

of people

of things to do

of forms of transportation

of restaurants

and many other things.

I live in Queens, NYC, and I've lived in NYC all my 53 years.

Paraphrasing "Fiddler on the Roof," may God bless and keep New York ... far, far away from here! So far, so good; New York is 1,970 miles from Millcreek, Utah. Hehe.

Seriously, though, I liked The Cloisters, and imagine I would love visiting Fraunces Tavern and Museum (being a Sons of the Revolution member).

I actually felt "spiritual" when I visited the Cloisters are age 15--despite the fact that I'm a confirmed agnostic.

Fraunces Tavern is all right.

Then there is the multiplicity of cultural events, and cultural places one could go to in NYC.

Around Times Square and Herald Square: I believe those places are too crowded--and tourist-oriented. You have to watch out for ripoffs, even at seemingly legit restaurants. Like a hamburger deluxe for $15!! !! !! !

i haven't been to NYC, but i ws told that i would go this summer. eh, maybe next time.
nonetheless, my favorite thing about it would be the city's roads themselves, just looking at a map and seeing the sprawling web of streets.

I'm a very visual person, so I'm quite fond of the aesthetics of the skyline. Though there are many other things I like as well.
