I've noticed that there are some very smart and knowledgeable people participating on the boards here.

IRL I don't have the privilege of assisted communication, and sometimes people think I'm dumb because I can't get my words out. They think I have nothing to say or they misunderstand what I'm saying.
But normally this only happens with people who are not actually all that smart or, for whatever reason, don't want to understand me anyway. I think I wouldn't have that problem in this group.
