Hello Wrong Planet. I used to post here as Kuribo, and I've been visiting the site since 2012. Until recently, I'd been severely depressed since 2011, which is probably why I allowed a lot of the negative posts here to affect me so much. I intend to stay away from issues to do with Autism politics this time, because trying to argue with people who's views are so "set in stone" is an act of futility. Anyway...

I'm a sixteen year old, male Aspie from Scotland who's interested in gaming and the technology industry. After four disastrous years in high school, I decided to leave, and I'll be starting an IT course in college on Monday.

What sort of qualifications will you get from the IT course?

I could understand that academics irritate you--but I hope the IT course will be an alternative path towards Uni.

Welcome back, Kuribo! I was wondering if you were the same person. Yeah, it's best to stay away from negative discussions. They make you feel worse when you are already feeling depressed. I spend more time in fun threads because of that. Any way I hope you'll enjoy WP this time. And I hope you'll enjoy your IT course, too.
