Unfortunately, the economic status of my country has led me to study Medicine in order to ensure some added security. Then I was still interested in Biology in general, but then it got boring as I learned more and more. It's all a bunch of hypothesis to be tested by statistics. You do get your creative times, but, other than that. Meh.
I did spend some good summers doing lab rotations, and had quite some fun with it. It's clear if I pursued a career in Medicine, I'd be pursuing research.
Even so, I am considering switching to Maths or Music as soon as I finish this. As for passion stirring my attitude towards patients, I find it that I don't need it. I am naturally worried about people, as long as they seek my help.
