Hi,

I haven't been diagnosed but I can relate to a lot of aspie traits. I decided to join when I found this page on Google 'Do you have difficulty verbalizing your thoughts?' I experience this on a very high level. Not sure what else to say. : )

When I'm relaxed I'm easily verbal. But sometimes I just can't speak at all - I don't know why. Do you think it's related to stress for you?

I really can't say for sure but I know stress makes everything worse. This will sound weird but it's as if I don't remember how it feels to be relaxed. I just feel empty.

I confuse issues and have trouble forming sentences in my head (you won't believe how much editing I've done to what I've written already). Then when I do manage, my words are misconstrued - this happens both if a conversation is personal/formal and causes me to look bad. It could be that I'm under-educated as I've always had trouble with reading comprehension and never received help for it.

I also keep misreading things (a lot!). For example I saw a video titled 'What to do if you are stuck in the friend zone with your crush' but I read it as 'What to do if you are stuck in car crash with your friend' :-\

I'm sorry I feel as if I'm talking about a lot of different things here and it's not making sense. My head is just so confused right now. By the time I get to the end of a post I forget what wrote previously. As a result it takes me ages just to write a little.

Over and out : )

Absolutely agree on that. People often tell me "get your words out" because I either semi-repeat what im trying to say, or just cant use the right words so I end up saying "Oh.. I forgot" and I look really silly :3

Don't apologize - you're among friends here, many of whom share your traits. Relax, enjoy, and speak/type freely! :D

Aw lol. For some reason I'm worse when talking to my Mum (and I'm by no means young). Then she's like, 'hurry up and say what you want to say, I have things to do' lol.
