Hello! Guten Tag! 你好! Kia Ora!

I'm a book worm, classical music fan, and wanna-be-scientist. I'm about to be a university student in New Zealand in 2015 and I'd love to meet some friends. Anyone in NZ? Or anywhere on earth, I don't care. :lol:

I've been reading posts on this site for a while now but only joined recently. I've been suspected myself to be autistic since 2011 but didn't know for sure until last year. The day I got my assessment result is the best day ever in my life. Everything was changing immensely since then. Now I'm still adjusting to my new "identity" as an aspie, but I'm so different from the person I used to be.

Anyway, I hope to meet more people on the spectrum and make a few friends. I haven't met a single aspie in real life yet!

More about me:

Interests: logic, skepticism, existentialism, stats, cognitive psychology, non-fiction crime, earth science, classical music, literature.

Obsessions: autism, DSM-5, Sherlock Holmes, The Adventures of Tintin (the comic by Hergé), Les Miserables musical, 19th century, WWII, maps, and all sorts of categorizations and rankings.

Music: Classical, Celtic/Slavic/Nordic folk, musicals, любэ(Lyube), and many songs from 60s to 90s.

Books: Apart from the science stuff I mostly read crime fiction and historical fiction, sometimes sci-fi and fantasy. For some reason I seem to have a soft spot for children's literature, though I don't like to admit it.

I watch lots of movies, TV shows, cartoons. Anime too but not so much in recent years.
