Hello!

Just adding my greetings to the immense number of others already on here. I've known about WrongPlanet for a while; but today's the day I finally got myself registered and posted.

I'm a 34 year old Male, living in Cambridgeshire UK, long suspected and recently diagnosed Asperger's Syndrome. Diagnosis was a positive thing for me, and even though only recent has already helped me to understand myself a little better and has aided me in feeling different in a largely positive way about myself, my thoughts and feelings and how my brain works.

I'm engaged, with 2 boys (9 and 7) from a previous Marriage and a delicious little 4 and a half month old baby girl with my fiancée.

As much as I'd like the time to post a lot, and as much as I feel a need to read every post and it's replies (I wonder why I have that particular desire) the long (and mind-numbingly boring) hours spent at work and the time spent looking after little people at home leaves me with a frustratingly low amount of hours to spend doing my own things.

There seems to be an immense amount of different topics on here, posted by a vast range of different people of different ages and from different walks of life; I look forward to looking through and posting as much as I can.

Welcome. Just out of interest, how did you meet your ex-wife? I'm asking because you're the same age as me and I've only started dating a couple of years ago.

Hi Jono, I met her online at age 21. We met on a Dating website called "love@Lycos"; which may even still be up and running. I was not really aware of my Asperger's when I was younger; just thought I was a bit different.

Incidentally, I have a lot less "issues" interacting with females (of all ages). I've had several close friends growing up who were girls, and generally preferred the topics of conversation and overall company of females as opposed to males. So, fortunately, never had many problems "dating", or with that side of my life.
