Heya! I'm new here too!

I don't like long forms, so, I'll just freestyle it.

Am Christian, haven't found any scientific evidence to disprove it.

I have a service dog for anxiety disorder, no the dog does not bite but I may.

I run a gaming clan that has had as much as fifty members at once via www.wolvenmoon.com.

Uhhh...My favorite word is MOO!

Oh yeah...just one small itsy bitsy thing about me. I have twelve computers operating out of my room.

Oink?

Welcome! I really like your avatar. Would you mind listing the types of your computers and their operating systems? I am interested in different types of operating systems.

What is your dog like? I didn't know that dogs were given to people for anxiety disorders, but thats really cool. My uncle has a seeing eye dog (its a black lab).

Welcome to WrongPlanet.net!

I, too, am interested in your computers. I used to have that many in my room but now I only have 2-5 set up in my room at most times. I have a lot of computers in storage in the barn in my back yard.

Okay, let's get started.

The one I'm running right now is an amd duron 850 on a soyo board (It was going to be upgraded to a 3200+ XP, but I changed my mind) 512 megs of RAM, slightly overclocked 64 meg geforce4 440.

The second one that is always on is a P3 500 with just under 300 megs of RAM, a really weird number, and a 32 meg ATI video card (Don't know the model.)

Next up I have a cruel experiment, an old compaq P2 233 with AV inputs, four video cards in it (Was trying to get an ancient TV tuner card to work, it didn't and I haven't touched it in months) and 128 megs of RAM.

After that I have a P1 166 with 32 megs of RAM, another 166 that is inoperable, a P1 133 running MS-dos, 96 megs of RAM in it.

After that I have no clue except for the 386 and 286, both in perfect working order. I haven't dug through them, most likely P1s ranging from 60 MHZ to 120.

As for the rest of the stuff, this computer has an old logitech webcam, a force feedback wingman joystick that I bought as it was being taken off the shelves, a REALLY nice 5.1 surround sound system, 17 inch monitor I got for free, a laser printer I paid 50 cents for (YES! 50 CENTS!! !!) and a dinky old keyboard and a scrolling mouse.

The 500 MHZ has a 15 inch monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard. Nothing special.

The compaq 233 is sitting without anything hooked into it.

All of my computers run off of a home network.

((*Pant...pant...what else...?*))

This computer, the 850, runs windows 2000 with a multitude of tweaks, the 500 runs windows 2000-a friend set it up and I haven't done much to it, it runs my clan chatbots.

the 233 runs windows ME for ease of setup (it gets wiped, reset, wiped, reset, windows ME is just easy to slap on it, don't maul me.)

Rest of the computers will run 98SE or 2000, depending on their speed. I haven't gotten into linux yet-no need.

Okay! Gotta run!
Chris

Cool. I have a nice 17" monitor that I got for free as well. Apparently a bunch of them were being thrown away -- perfectly good monitors in great condition -- and my sister's friend salvaged one of them.

These are the ones in my room:

1. PowerBook G4 12", 1ghz, 768 MB of RAM, 40 GB hard drive. I use it as my main computer for most everything.

2. Grape iMac DV, 400mhz, 128 MB of RAM, 10 GB hard drive. I use this one as my slave computer, hehe. It does downloading of large files, grid computing, and 3D rendering so that doesn't bog down my main computer at all.

3. HP, 266mhz or 333mhz depending which processor I'm trying to make actually work, ugh. 2 GB hard drive, Windows 2000, SoundBlaster card that I installed, FireWire card that I installed. Anyway, before I just had to try to upgrade the processor when it worked, I used it to do stuff that needed Windows and to just tinker around on.

4. Mac Classic II, 16mhz, 40 MB hard drive. I don't have it plugged in because I use it to hold up a corner of my bed where the leg broke off. It's just the right height for that with a couple books on top.

There are computers everywhere in my house, lol, but those are the ones I just so happen to keep in my room.

AHHH! Macs!

I usually use mine to play games and run bots on. Macs never have been appealing.

Greetings,

Been meaning to say - you seem familiar Kitsune.
I guess we have probably been around the same areas of the Were community at some point.

You would know me as WolfRider. I wrote the DreamShfit software among other things.

Were community...or furry community..?

Therianthropy:The belief that one is spiritually, mentally, or physically an animal.

I'm a furry fan, not a satanist/wiccan/druid.
