Hi everyone, I am glad I have found this site to get to know another people with AS, I am actually not sure about me having the syndrome but according for what I have read on sites about the subject I do have most of the characteristics.

I am male 30 years old, i dont have friends, and that's ok with me, I feel I don't need many lol, I am a college dropout due to feeling uncomfortable with being an outcast and picked on, as the same happens with jobs, I am overly sensitive any slightly tiny thing upsets me all day.

I like science stuff and SciFi, I am a trekker

My primary language is spanish

Hi,
I registered yesterday only and this is my first message.

I was fed up with myself, my working style, my career, my academic qualification as so on. So to improve my performance from underachiever to satisfactory I started googling. I realised I procrastinated a lot. So, I started doing research in procrastination.

Then with some luck and some hours gazing at the monitor I hit the jackpot. I found information about autism and AS in wikipedia. I read the characteristics and realised thats me. i was never diagnosed properly even though I visited psychiatrists several times. They thought I had depression so gave me anti-depressants but I always knew it was not the case. So I stopped taking it. I took the AS quiz at www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html and scored 37. I'm not sure how correct is this score but it doesn't matter coz I know I'm at the right place.

I already feel more confident and more open to people as I know who I am. I don't have to worry anymore about what happened to me or what might happen to me as I'm among thousands of others who share my experiences. Thanx a lot to all the wrongplanet people.

I'm 28 years old from Nepal, a country in South Asia (between India and Tibet). Also a college drop-out as I coudn't study anymore. Married to a very very understanding and loving lady. I'm also not satisfied with the job I've as I've to face a lot of NTs everyday.
