Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well.

I've come here to do a little bit of searching... I think I may have Asperger's, but I'm not entirely sure. I've done a bit of research, and spoken with friends who are diagnosed, and a lot of times I think, "oh my god that sounds so much like me!" but I can't be sure.

I want to see a counselor to maybe get it sorted out, but I don't have the money for co-pays. So until then, and probably after as well, I hope to learn a lot about Aspie's from other people and maybe make some new friends.

I also have generalized anxiety disorder (mostly social anxiety) and depression.

Hi! I think I'm kinda in your boat. I'm wondering if I should be diagnosed or not.

In case you haven't done this, you should check out aspietests.org and take as many of their tests as you want. It might give you a better idea of what's going on in your head and which specific characteristics you identify most with. Don't be afraid of registering -- it's useful to save your results and to contribute to the overall statistics that site keeps track of.
