Hi,

My name is Jake (unsurprisingly in view of my nick), I'm 21 years old and live in the North West of England. My interests are mainly mathematics and various styles of music.

I found this site via a video on youtube; I was searching for stuff related to AS and just happened to check the links to the video and hence found this place. So, I thought I would join up.

I don't know what else to say really, I am normally better at responding to threads than starting them but I thought it would be best to introduce myself anyway.

No, I am originally from Manchester but I am living in Preston now.

The place sounds familiar but I don't really know Preston that well; I have only lived here for about a year and I only really know how to get from my house to the motorway and back really.

I get on that way when I am going up to Lancaster (I go to university there) but I get on at the tickle trout when I am going to Manchester though.

Ah, I see. I obviously get on at Grimsargh/Gamull way when going to Manchester or anywhere like that. :)

I love youtube! As for music, I've learned a bit of keyboard in the past, got one recently and have a Piano For Dummies and Learn to Play Keyboard book.

Yeah, I tend to use youtube a lot; mostly for checking out music. I haven't played the keyboard but I have been taking piano lessons for several months now; I am progressing very slowly with it but I am enjoying it and the teacher is very patient with me.
