My name is Angie and I'm an NT. I was on Aspies Central for about a year and a half and made many friends, but now I'm wanting to make more friends here! I actually began by looking up information about Asperger's because of a person in my life at that time and really got to know several Aspies during the process. I find I really like being around Aspies because they are down to earth, tell the truth and have a wide variety of subjects in which they are very knowledgeable. Gotta admit that sometimes I have to get out a dictionary because of the big words that Aspies use, but I find that refreshing! As my saying goes -- I came for the information, but stayed for the fun! I hope to be able to answer any NT questions that may arise as I want to help bridge the communication gap that Aspies and NT's have with each other. I made several threads on Aspies Central regarding "communication issues" that can be referenced under "Grumpy Cat". I hope to make more friends here and help in the process.

PS: I just love Grumpy Cat!

Welcome to Wrong Planet, Angie. Yes, you will find a great many long words here (the general IQ count is much higher than average), but also a lot of friendly, funny and kind people.
