Hello! I'm new here, I guess...

I'll just start with some basic facts about myself:

- I am a 21 year old woman who lives in Australia. I am currently studying for a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media at a university just outside of town.

- I have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome since early childhood, and have been coming to terms with how it affected me as I was growing up.

- My main interests are cartoons/animation and storytelling.

- I'm mostly an introverted person who prefers to be alone a lot of the time. Although lately, I have been working on getting outside my comfort zone in order to socialize more, but so far I haven't had much luck...

I mostly came here to talk to other people with Asperger's, as well as find ways to improve my social skills a little bit more. So... hi!

@ Earthling and Nist498, I like a lot of different cartoons (including anime and Cartoon Network shows) but at the moment I've been really getting into Adult Swim shows lately such as Rick and Morty, Superjail! and Moral Orel. I'm also into shows like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls and South Park.

I haven't had too much of a chance to get back into Adult Swim on account of me needing to sleep early in order to come into work early. How's the current line up looking?

I think it's looking good according to what I've seen on the website just now (I'm glad they're showing Bob's Burgers as well, another one of my favourite TV shows). I mostly watch episodes of my favourite shows online, as I don't have the actual channel in my house at the moment.

I hope you can have a good balance between just being yourself and pushing yourself to be more social.
I used to push myself more and I went too far and keeping up my jolly social self was draining.
Now that I am married I tend the other way, wanting to always stay home, but my wife balances me out there.
