I'm new here. Guess I'll tell anyone that is interested a bit about myself. I am 52 years old and was officially diagnosed a few months ago. I always knew I was different and didn't fit in well, I never knew there was a name for it - I thought it was just me. Darn, I thought I was unique! :wink: I graduated college with a degree in Accounting (I liked organizing the numbers and information, but I really hated the thought of working in accounting for clients and memorizing all of those laws). I enjoy organizing things and always did. My mom told me I always organized my room when I was a kid. All my Golden books were organized according to height. I proudly served in US Air Force 1986-1990. Believe me, it wasn't easy, but I enjoyed it. I was a 702 (Administrative Specialist, and I liked organizing files and organizing information in reports). It was easy to blend in and pass for normal because I learned how to "pass" when I was in a private school as a kid. I married in 1990 and divorced in 2008 (thankfully as he tried to change me the whole time even though he knew what I was like before he married me. We dated for four years). I have two kids - one NT, one Aspie. Currently work in retail store in bakery and cake decorating (love to be creative). I enjoy organizing the shelves and cleaning the bakery. Nobody at work knows I am an Aspie, they just think I'm weird :lol: . My interest are religion and the "here after". In a nutshell: I enjoy organizing things and like to use brackets a lot when I write. Hello!! !

So, the people you work with think you're weird! Well that's their problem.

If you're interested in religion, we have a forum here (Politics, Philosophy and Religion) where you can discuss it to your heart's content. But beware - things can get a little heated there.
