Hi, I've read stuff on this forum before and I finally decided to join. I was diagnosed with aspergers at age 13. I'm 24 now and I go to art school online. My major is illustration. I like small press and alternative comics, cartoons, rock 'n' roll (punk, garage rock, power pop, early rock), and nature. I'd love to meet some new people so feel free to tell me about yourself!

Because of your screen name. Armstrong was also known as Satchmo. And Satchmo was a trumpeter.

Oh, I started to wonder if that might be it after I asked! No, I got that from a cartoon called Home Movies. They get a dog and one of the kids wants to name it Satchmo the trumpeter. I just thought it was a funny name. I kinda wish I knew that Louis Armstrong went by Satchmo before I chose the username... Ah Well.

You should listen to some of Armstrong's stuff before he became really famous.

Like "West End Blues."

He was actually seen as being an innovator in jazz.

I'll do that sometime! I enjoy some jazz now and then. A couple of my favorite cartoonists are really into jazz.

I thought he was a big-time Louis Armstrong fan.

I enjoy those genres too! I got Skyrim a few years ago but I've been so busy with school that I haven't played it much. I played Oblivion quite a bit though! Those Elder Scrolls games are fun.
