Hello. I've lurked in the forums for a while but didn't register until a few minutes ago.

I'm that guy who is the perennial "so smart I don't understand why he's such an underachiever" guy. Diagnosed as ADHD as a child, now with adult ADD. I had a lot of autistic-like tendencies in former years, some of which went away but many still remain, even though I never got formally diagnosed. I'm at that point where I'm weird enough that many people don't like me but not weird enough to be considered gravely disabled. Sometimes that's a good place to be, oftentimes it is not.

I have a college degree (BS in Computer Science) that I took way too long to earn, and experience in the Information Technology (IT) world. I'm mostly a self-learner, and have shocked several people when they found out that I knew much more than they were expecting someone of my background to know!

Oh, and I live in Virginia.
