I figured I should stop lurking and make a formal introduction.
My name's Emil. 20 years old, trans masculine person, artist and musician, goth extraordinaire. lol.
After recent vigorous and borderline obsessive research on the topic and reminiscing about the various struggles I've had in the 20 years I've been alive, I've come to the realization that I am very likely on the autism spectrum.
I had spent a matter of years ignorant to what exactly autism was, and that ignorance begot fear and the fear begot the denial and ultimate repression of the overwhelmingly obvious aspie traits in myself and so on and so forth.
But since discovering wrongplanet and several other resources, I feel so much more at ease. I feel as if I finally have an explanation for the confusion and alienation I've felt in my life, especially in terms of schooling and socializing and whatnot. Everything makes so much more sense now and I no longer feel lost in a strange world.
I'm so happy to find others to relate to finally feel as if I fit in somewhere. Good day! :>
