Newly in a Relationship

Hello all!

I'm a so-called NT (although hardly typical) and have recently formed a very close relationship with an AS woman. Our backgrounds are entirely different, she is German, I am British and she is quite a bit younger than me. Our paths crossed at work and over the last month I have been on a rollercoaster ride. I have never experienced anything like it previously, I am having to learn a whole new "code of conduct" which for me is very alien. I am quite often feeling really clumsy because I miss read signals or miss them entirely. I even got it wrong with flowers!

I was wondering if there are any other partners of AS people who have shared this experience?
