Soooo, I'm not exactly sure how a forum works. I hope I'm doing this correctly.
I'm Kris. 29 years old from Arkansas I was recently diagnosed with Aspergers (misdiagnosed as ADHD in 3rd grade). I decided to get retested after 20 years because I was having a very difficult time with homework, social situations, etc. I began wondering if there might be something more going on than ADHD. I'm very happy I decided to do it. For the longest time I thought everyone dealt with the same issues, and I couldn't understand why everyone else could handle them so much better than I could. I'm now beginning to understand everything a bit better I'm hoping to find some friends here.
I have a Basset Hound named Finn. She is my biggest fan. Some of my favorite things are: drawing, learning about marine animals, watching stand up comedy, cooking awesome food, eating awesome food, walking, using microscopes, among other things. I'd really like to become a marine biologist, but my location puts a bit of a damper on that. I hope to find something else that sparks my interest along the way.
