Is this a social convention to introduce yourself? I see people do this in Facebook groups too, personally I've never bothered before, it's not like we know these random people lol. It must be a politeness thing.
So hi, you've figured I'm autistic don't need to explain that. My 7 year old son is also autistic but milder than me. I'm your typical ASD, take everything literally, clueless about tone of voice/face expressions/body language. If everyone just said exactly what they mean I'd be fine. Also have sensory stuff.
I was diagnosed as an adult and nothing has ever made more sense, explains so much of my childhood.
And I'm married to a hoarder (anxiety disorder), untreated and undiagnosed. There are many awesome things to say about him other than starting with that, but hey, we're talking disorders here.
