Hello

I've found myself here because the more I read about females on the spectrum the more everything seems to fit. I've been in and out of outpatient mental health services all my life and it has never been mentioned. It's something I've often thought it myself but due to a lack of knowledge on the subject I just thought that because I don't fit the stereotypical male picture portrayed in the media that it couldn't be me. Well, I think it is. So what do I do now? Other than cut my self some slack for finding so many "everyday" situations an ordeal.

I am also new here and noticed there are many female Aspies on the forum, maybe they can point you in the right direction...

Thank you, I've just found the women related threads I will start there I think, there's so much information on here it's a bit overwhelming as a newcomer.

I was diagnosed later in life, it sure helped me to understand myself better.
