Hi everybody This forum is a cool place and I've read through it for years, and now I've finally made an account to join in discussions. It's great to have such a rich online community of fellow neurodiverse people as they seem to be so few and far between in real life. I'm 20 and was diagnosed with HFA when I was 16.

My favorite pokemon in general is Gyarados.
My favorite pokemon for battling is Togekiss followed by Dragonite, although I like pokemon wiht unburden too. It surprises people, I dont know why.
I think I have a similar story. I have aspergers, (is that the same as HFA) and mostof the people I know with similar problems dont want to talk about it IRL

This is a good place to just be yourself, find out about yourself, ask questions, rant and rave and feel like everyone else.

I hope you are encouraged here, feel free to ask questions of any of us (although I dont know many answers).

It's so good to see so many others here who like Pokémon

Bald-Accountant - Yes, I believe High Functioning Autism and Asperger's are practically the same condition, sharing a very similar diagnostic criteria.

And yes, Unburden is very useful. I use my Drifblim with Unburden and the move Acrobatics competitively quite a lot.
