Arrrrrr that's how am feeling right now. Thing am confused about is DO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY??? So I was in a relationship for 7 months. I have aspergers he is ( what I class as normal) he had a bit too much too drink last week and was aggressive and hurt me physically and mentally. I gave it a week to calm down, in which time I arranged a pick up of my belongings. I get there today with my list to collect. He kicks off at me and scares me again. He works for the community petrol officers, which work closely with the police. ( that's why I didn't press chargers, that and he would lose his job) do I have the right to feel angry?? Talk about a learning curve. I think am just Kent to be alone! Vv. (Sad face)

Hey,

I don't know about the UK, but most officers enforcing the law don't care who you are if you're beating up on people. I think the best thing you can do is get out of that situation. If he hurts you again in the process, press those charges and protect yourself. There's plenty of men that won't take their problems out on you too.

I hope it all works out OK!

You have the right to every emotion that comes your way..anger, fear, hurt, to name a few.

Furthermore, you have more than the right to press charges as doing so may either force him to get the help he needs, or more importantly, stop this before it happens again to the future women he encounters.
