Hello. I'm new here. When I was young, I was diagnosed with autism, but my mother didn't want to think anything was 'wrong' with me, so it was swept under the carpet, basically. Except I've needed certain accommodations throughout my life, especially where school has been concerned. I have been given multiple diagnoses throughout my life and only recently Asperger's (I'm 37). It was such a relief. It is the most fitting diagnosis I've ever received. I also have Bipolar disorder. Anyway, I have a few interests, such as writing (especially pantoums) and studying psychological disorders. I'm interested in meeting others--especially those who've had similar experiences. But anyone, really. :)

Are you a generic radical, or more of a specific radical? :)

That's a good question. I haven't decided yet. Thanks for asking. :)

That's nice! A pantoum is a structured type of poem that has many repeated lines. I view them as puzzles almost because it takes some creativity to have them make sense. :D

You must be near Cooperstown!

It's a very nice area, indeed.

I'm fairly close to Cooperstown. I grew up practically in Cooperstown, which is a lovely area. I'm in Ithaca now.

Ithaca's nice, too.

What is your impression of Cortland?

Cortland is OK. I don't go there often enough to make a big judgment about it, though. How do you like the big city? Not Cortland, but NYC? 8)
