Hi, I am a dad with 2 young sons, one of which has Aspergers spectrum issues. He is 11. In the 2nd grade it became clear he could not settle down in school classes, leading us on the road to many doctors (many not very good) and tests over the years. He does well at school if he can focus and apply himself. He is in special classes for reading and math. We are concerned about his social development as much as anything else. We are also worried about how all this is affecting his little brother. Our home life can be rough and it's a lot of work trying to weave through the meltdowns and bad moods. Hence I am seeking other having to deal with the roller coaster I am.
