wooot! 2 replies already. I didn't think anyone would be up at this hour.

I have aspergers.. and I struggle through life. I heard about this site from someone I know in real life, finally had the courage to join it.

Unfortunately, no. Housework and studying :eew:

Maybe I'll get to go to the gym.

What about you? Hopefully your weekend will be more interesting than mine.

Sorry that you've been feeling down :(

Hopefully you will feel a bit better over the weekend.

Do you have any particular hobbies or interests that you'd care to share?

I like reading, writing, watching movies, playing video games and more. What about you?

Anthropology, linguistics (currently studying Mandarin), biology, working out, cooking, being outdoors, etc.

Can't afford to get involved in video games anymore. It quickly becomes an addiction for me. I become too obsessed and abandon my responsibilities. I'm not very good at telling myself no.

What do you write?

Outdoors..? That's scary. I like cooking too, even though the microwave is still a good cooking aid for me.

I write science fiction and fantasy mainly. I have a few ideas for novels started, but not much more. Easy for me to get writer's block, lazy and just distracted to really sit down to write a ton.

Yeah, I have the same problem. I do get distracted quite easily before I get into focused mode. Then sometimes I just get bored and then I'm done with it, as I just don't care anymore.

Hopefully you can turn your interest in writing into a novel sometime in the future.

Thanks, I'll try.

Are you going to turn one of your interests into a career?

Probably not. I'm a little old for that at this point. My interests would require a lot of schooling, for many a Phd would be necessary. I'm working on a practical degree, and I'll devote a certain amount of time to my interests.

I discovered a few years ago that my interests are just not practical career choices. But that does not mean that you should not try for yourself. I just couldn't handle the stress and uncertainty.
