Hi there. I'm Kitrona, 28, married, mother of one with one on the way, and a friend pointed me toward the Aspie quiz at http://www.rdos.net/eng/Aspie-quiz.php. I scored 158 out of 200, and the questions kind of messed with my head... I didn't realize that 'normal' people didn't do some of the stuff they were asking! I also figured out that both I and my son are more than likely Aspie, and the only reason we're not diagnosed yet is because I only found out about this a week ago. :) I'm waiting for a call from a program that looks promising, but I'm also open to suggestions on places to get tested and such. I'm near Chicago, which is where I've been looking for doctors and such, and can't travel much, what with a baby on the way, buying a house, and having only one car.

Anyway, now that I've said that... hi. :)

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I think you should be thinking if your next child will be Aspie too!

Oh, fairly sure the baby will be Aspie. :)

Thanks for the complement on the kitty... that's my mama cat, Cleo. Too curious for her own good! :)

Thanks all, for the welcome...

What is the purpose in looking fore an official diagnosis?
You just know how to score good at an aspie test, so, if you show this to the psy, he will through over you some letters , like ABC/FG, that will mean, for him and all NTs, that you are idiot.
Is there other purpose in looking for a diagnosis?
