Greetings. So I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. After spending countless hours reading over posts here I finally decided to join.
I'm mostly here out of curiosity. I doubt my story is in any way unique. I was on an internet crawl that eventually led me to an Asperger blog which really spoke to me. After that I began checking this place out, reading books by Temple Gradin and Tony Atwood. There was so much I identified with, the sensory problems, difficulty in social situations, the need for routine and structure, aversion to change. As I said, not exactly unique.
I'm still unsure whether I would be on the spectrum. Though it would be strange to share so many traits and not be. I suppose the only way to be sure is to go to a professional, but I'm a bit hesitant to do so at the moment.
So yeah, that's about it...ooh, batman smilie
