Hello inhabitants of wrongplanet! :alien:

I don't really have anything too superb or unique to say but thought I ought to conjure up some kinda simple introduction to be polite.

After a long, confusing and exhausting road meandering rather abrasively and miserably through life eventually tipped me toward what I felt would end in pure insanity, I instead got diagnosed last year with ASD! It is quite clear this is the strange glue that I have been missing all this time but I am still very much caught within the net of disbelief and am paddling in the tide of warring emotions and old reluctance. It has not quite sunken in yet but I hope it will eventually as I continue to work on processing it and warming to it and understanding it.

I suspect this kind of convoluted conflict in the aftermath of realization strikes a chord that resonates potently for countless others upon these shores, is a very odd feeling.

I suppose contributing here after lurking for over a year now is a part of that process and I look forward to rambling away with some of you

I think you should be a writer. You have a talent.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Well, I have always had a morbid fascination with death and macabre things but am quite a chilled out person with the outlook that I'm going to die between the next second and 70 years so might as well laugh at the silly things and bask in an equal share of humour and glowsticks whilst I am able to so I guess I am a merry soul in a body that will one day become a corpse, perhaps that is why :skull:

I like to scrawl and ramble when my mind is going a million miles an hour as it helps alleviate the debris jangling around up there, I don't know if I am any good at writing but I do enjoy unleashing words

I have long standing obsessions with the paranormal and aliens, ever since I was a child I have been a lunatic on accumulating literature and dvd's and researching cases of poltergeists, haunted buildings, abduction cases, secret government projects... everything! I must spent ten hours a week minimum on learning and relearning facts! I am also very intrigued by doomed air voyages since I was young. World war 2 has been a massive interest of mine since I was in high school, so that's a more 'modern' one! Anaesthesia is a current one that flits in and out!

What are everyone else's interests, I would be riveted to hear!

I'm really interested in disabilities/mental illnesses and learning about how humans think and interact. I'm planning on studying psychology at university next year. I like browsing and posting on forums. I also really like words and writing, and I want to be a writer, though I get distracted easily.

I also get easily distracted, I am like a magpie some days observing shiny things and storing them all away and I am like a dazed frog other days and just focus on one lily pad and lose track of everything else I need to sift and pursue!

Those seem like admirable interests! I am also very compelled by mental health and exploring what drives other humans to act and think how they do and why it confuses me often or sometimes meshes well with my own behaviour and feelings!

Cool! I've been working on my writing over the past few days.
