I'm Laura, I'm 23 for another four weeks and I just thought I'd make myself known to you all.
I don't have a diagnosis of any Autism Spectrum Disorder, although I am waiting on a GP appointment to ask for a referral.
I have life-long social phobia (which was only diagnosed three years ago, when I was 21) and issues with communicating my emotions and relating to people, even those similar to me. I am also diagnosed with mild depression, but I'm currently seeking reassessment as my moods are becoming lower, and those low moods are becoming more prolonged and difficult to cope with.
On the brighter side, I like Doctor Who, The Thick Of It, Yes Minister and music by Ellie Goulding.
I have around 20 pairs of shoes, of which I only wear three pairs on a regular basis.
My bedroom wall is home to 10 Doctor Who posters and I have an impressive collection of DVDs, many of which are sitcoms, some of which are prison dramas, and lots of which are Doctor Who.
Yep.
I'm Laura. And I'm going to be 24 in April.
