Hi everyone! I´m a 53 year old female from Sweden. After a lot of struggle, I finally got my Asperger and ADD diagnoses about 6 months ago and I´m so happy about that for the first time in my life I have gotten some help. Life feels a lot better now. I´m also a HSP and struggle with dyscalculia. Please bear with me if I get some words or grammar wrong since English in not my first language. ;-)

Hi Tusselina and Welcome! I also got my diagnosis as an adult. I'm 63 now. Your English is great! I have taught English as a second language to all sorts of age groups. English is all I know. But people who have been brought up with a different language tell me that English is a very difficult language to learn. I hope that you will find encouragement here. There's plenty to read and lots of nice people here.

Hello Tusselina and welcome to Wrong Planet! I too was diagnosed late in life - 57 years old. Wrong Planet has been the saving of me - life is so much easier with all these people who understand me.

Hello and thank you for your welcome! :-)

For Swedes, English is not so difficult to learn, however Swedish can be quite tricky for some foreigners to learn.

Hello and welcome to wrong planet.
I also got my diagnosis as an adult (at 23), sadly I live in France and everyone knows France is a hell hole for autism, luckily I was diagnose in the USA, sadly in living in France I'm not getting any help, the only help the state propose is being locked up in an institution.
Anyway, again welcome to Wrong Planet.

Hello! It is difficult in Sweden as well. The whole psychiatric system is collapsing, you have to wait for a very long time to get an appointment to a doctor.
