Hello there - I am walrusgumboot. I'm a 21 y.o. female with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and I live in the UK. I was diagnosed at a young age, but it's been a few years since I spent much time interacting with the autism community and I think I need to reconnect with others like me. So, hi. *nervous wave*

I'm an open person and I'm always happy to make new friends, so feel free to message me if you'd like. I'm keen on history, engineering, animals + zoology, music (particularly The Beatles) and British comedy, so I'd especially love to hear from you if you share any of those interests!

what era of history do you most enjoy reading about?

Strawberry Fields Forever has to be my all-time favourite - the lyrics are so poignant and musically it was years ahead of its time. I also really like Eleanor Rigby, Lady Madonna, Paperback Writer, Tomorrow Never Knows and While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

George Harrison is my favourite for his humour, his solo career and his other interests as a film producer. John Lennon comes a close second, though.

I most enjoy modern and early modern history. I have a big interest in Victorian engineering, so anything to do with that era and the Industrial Revolution in Britain fascinates me. The Renaissance, the Reformation and 20th century British history are some other favourites.

i particularly like 20th century history, especially the latter half. just to see what i missed out on.
