Hi, I hope it's ok to join. I don't know if I have Autism/aspergers yet. I am going to contact someone whom was suggested to me to see if I can get an assessment. My brother was diagnosed as a kid and I am very much like him. I however have been diagnosed with many different psych disorders and have been medicated half my life. Though I am definitely not NT got too much social and sensory issues to be that. But autistic I am not sure. I have felt different my whole life but if autism isn't the reason then I ok with that.

It's definitely OK that you joined. Other then diagnosed autistic people there are also people who are self diagnosed, people with other disorders, and even a lot of neurotipicals.

Interests are animals and nature. Though I have dabbled a bit in photography as well. Wish I had more energy to devote to these interests but I am spending so much trying to cope with a full time job.

Hi RedBlue, Glad to hear you have a full time job. I used to for 33 years, but now I am part time. I like animals and photography too. My avatar is a pic I took of my dog in the passenger seat of the car. You can tell she is eager for a road trip!

non aspies, auties, and NTs are welcome anytime. you may find that some users have particularly negative attitudes towards the non spectrumites, try to ignore them.

I was diagnosed with depression and other psych disorders.
Hope this is not the wrong forum to share this!
I have addiction to gaming. Sitting and playing is all what can do now. Feel like I have become handicap without my games. Going through therapy and was recommended to join various forums to get social since gamers are not that social (sitting in one room and playing).

what kind of games do you like? i find myself playing games a lot also, more than i used to, it is certain.

forums to me feel like the right amount of social interactivity i can have.
