Greetings! I wanted to take the time to say "hi" to everyone out here on the "Wrong Planet" It has been a long and lonely road, but I truly believe I have finally found the people that see the world similarly to me. I have come to realize that Asperger's was what I have been dealing with for the past 43 years only after a recent diagnosis given to my oldest son. Now that it has name I am in the process of making sense of my past life and trying to figure how I can better what life is left ahead of me. WP has been a welcomed find to say the least. I hope that it proves to be a community that I can learn from to help myself and to help with parenting my six year old son.

Aside from the ASD stuff I have had a life-long interest in drumming and music. Metal is my favorite genre to listen to be it Black, Death, Doom, Prog, Bay Area Thrash, as long as it has good energy and is played with feeling I'll dig it. Any given day though I could just as easily be listening to Zac Brown, Fiona Apple, The Killers, Hank Jr, Yes, Tom Petty, Rush, various jazz artists, and even classical. I currently play in two bands and when I am not drumming I love to cook, read for knowledge, collect comic books, currently learning to play guitar and like to play games on the PS4 when I have some extra time.

My hope is to be active on the site, learn, share, and maybe connect at some level with some of the other members.

Cheers

Jason
