Hello dear community,
A little notice: English isn't my mother tongue (I'm from zurich) - so it's possible that there will be some mistakes in my post, don't hesitate to ask if there are any questions ..
I was diagnosed with asperger autism a few years ago by a psychiatrist in a clinic. Since then, I've been learning more about my difficulties along with my psychiatrist.
To be honest: I joined this forum for another reason: I've been learning english for 1 or 2 years (with long breaks) and I'm going to make an important exam (which require the B2-Level at least.). I've much time until then (more than 1 year), but I decided to start as early as possible with learning ... one of my biggest problems is my terrible grammar.
It might sounds too directly, but I'm searching for a penpal in this forum - In my opinion is learning through conversations the most effectively form to learn.
Where should I put my "penpal-annonce" - is this the right category? For some reason I don't believe that the "Getting To know each other"-category suits an annonce like a glove ...
EDIT: Oh, I've forgotten some (not too) personal informations: I'm 21 years old and currently I'm doing an apprenticeship as an (software) engineer (<- it starts in 2012 and will be finished in july this year).
