Hi, I'm Ben! I live in Indiana and have HFA or Asperger's. I look forward to occasionally posting on this site, and getting through the 4th of July!! Is anyone else startled by the fireworks?

Hi Ben--welcome! I have the same diagnosis. I don't like the noise or brightness of the fireworks, and I actually think they're pretty boring. I put in earplugs and watch anyway to be with my family, but I'd much rather be reading or listening to music.
