Hey there. I'm undiagnosed but belong somewhere on the low end of the spectrum. I've always been OK with it, but my oldest son (now 6) is showing signs of things that made my childhood a bit less fun than it should have been. This seems like a real friendly helpful place, and I'm looking forward to learning about other people's strategies with their kids, as well as with life in general (cough *social situations* cough).

Nice to be here!

Hi SevenWinds, welcome. I have a similar situation with at least one of my kids. I'm not sure about seeking a diagnosis and possibly reducing them to a set of syptoms or just letting them be who they are. They seem to be basically ok although I can seen potential problems for both of them. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this.

Thanks everyone. Nice to be here.

@Jozie, it sounds like we're very similar regarding diagnosis for our kids. Personally, I think since he's pretty low on the spectrum just being vigilant about potential issues he may face, and preparing him wherever possible, is best for us. We're also lucky enough to have our boys in a school that is very strong on creating a healthy environment for the kids, so they're already one step ahead of me :)
