Hey, I'm new here. I've been diagnosed a few months ago as someone who is on the autism spectrum. I made my account mainly because of that, as there are some things troubling me that make me doubt my diagnosis a bit and it's really driving me crazy... But I'll make a seperate thread for that, I thought it'd be more appropriate to make an introduction first.

I'm from Belgium, so my English might not be the best. Ever since i was young my intrests are mainly gaming and anime. I do workout often now too, I find that it often helps me relax. Most of the time I'm anxious and very stressed and experience many problems in communicating with others. I work in a supermarket which is very difficult at times but I do have nice employees that are understanding. I don't have any friends besides my family at the moment. People often tend to describe me as very quiet and too nice. I do struggle with minor depression now and then but in general I'm a pretty happy person when I'm by myself.

I don't really know what else to say but if you've got questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to answer them.

Welcome! I can relate a bit to what you wrote. What kinds of things stress you out?

Hello, nice to meet you. I was diagnosed earlier this year with ASD and dysthymia (mild chronic depression). I'm curious to see what your next thread will say, I have zero doubts that I'm on the spectrum since it explains so much about me.

Thank you!

I always overthink conversations, if I can't do something I planned like a workout, to stuff that are perfectly fine but I still go in depth in it to see if I missed something. My work is my biggest stress factor though I think about it everyday, But in general I guess I can stress pretty much about anything really. It's pretty annoying.

Thank you!

I'm not allowed to link url's yet, but I posted my thread in the 'General Autism Discussion' section.

I wish I could just let it rest and accept my diagnosis, but my childhood just feels pretty off when comparing it to the stories of other people with aspergers. If I'd have to talk about the present, it would indeed explain so much about me.
