Hello all :D

I am James - a 26 year old university Honours student, and volunteer firefighter, from New Zealand. I have mild autism, but have coped rather well; I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, and have served as a support firefighter with my local rural fire force for just over two years now. I was looking for autism forums earlier on, and this was the first one that popped up on the search results. I know that will definitely enjoy my time here!

Welcome, that's a commendable thing to put your spare time into, I'll call you if I burn my toast again and cause an unsightly inferno!

Haha! And it sure is DC - I am the fourteenth firefighter in my family; it started way back in 1917 with my great-uncle, who was a career firefighter in Dunedin.
