Hi, I have just been unofficially diagnosed with condition formally known as Asperger's. I have been seeing a therapist who specialises in Asperger's and she confirmed I have it. Getting a handle on why things are the way they are and have figured out some of the managing skills.

Hi, nice to meet you. Feeling actually relieved (although a little defensive - my initial song to describe my feelings was 'perfect insanity'). It explains alot about my life and experiences. Unfortunately alot of the bullying and trouble I got into at school, as well as problems at previous jobs.
I'm lucky in that I have a good set of friends who have already accepted me for who I am, and know how to deal with me. There are a few in my social circle whose kids have aspergers, but they are male. Explaining the differences can be difficult. At the moment I am just figuring out what parts are Asperger and learning about better ways to manage things.
